Deposit

To confirm a guided booking with Ohana Bay Hunting, a 20% deposit of the package rate is required.

Deposits can be made via Credit Card or Bank Transfers are accepted, please advise us and we will supply you our transfer information.

If there is no deposit, we cannot guarantee that your expected dates to be available.
The cost of your trip is secured upon your deposit.  Prior to payment of your deposit prices are subject to change

The final payment must to be paid by the completion of your hunt.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation within 90 days of the hunting trip will incur loss of deposit. We highly recommend you taking full comprehensive insurance that covers all aspects travel, and game/trophy hunting.

Alternatively your deposit can be transferred to another prearranged date within the 12 month period from the cancelled booking.

Prior bookings are essential.

12 month advanced bookings recommended.

Trips are cancelled only under serious weather conditions. Should a rescheduled date not be available the deposit will be refunded.

All prices quoted include Goods & Services Tax (GST).

Payment

Final payments can be made in any medium or currency. We prefer Cash or Bank Transfer for final payment.

We do our best to stay with the published prices, but reserve the right to change them either way due to currency fluctuations.

Terms & Conditions

Pricing:

  • All prices are quoted in New Zealand pricing (NZD). All prices are inclusive of the New Zealand Government, Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.

Included:

  • Included in the hunter fee are the following: all accommodation, guide services and the field preparations of any hunting activities.

    Any cancellation within 90 days of the hunting or accommodation trip will incur loss of deposit.

NOT INCLUDED:

  • Not included in the Owner packages are: expediting, preparation of trophies for expediting and taxidermy costs, firearms license, use of firearms and import permit cost, special or private transfers, airline tickets, sightseeing activities, personal items, telephone calls, insurance, passport and visa expenses and excess baggage charges.

PAYMENT

  • We accept the following: Credit Card and Bank Transfers

to secure Booking

  • To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required upon signing of the Hunting Contract. Due to the high cost of some particular game animals, a larger deposit may be required.

Balance Due

  • The remaining balance of the total cost is due at completion of the hunt.

romalpa clause

  • Any meats or trophies supplied by the Owner remain the property of the Owner until such time as all money owed to the Owner are paid in full. The Owner will export the trophies to the expediter upon full and final payment.

Insurance

  • The Owner recommends that you have insurance to cover every eventuality, including hunt cancellation and travel insurance. The Owner does not carry any insurance that insures you or your property. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date or year with the agreement of both parties

LIABILITY

  • The Owner will not be liable for any loss, injury, damages or delay suffered by the Client for any reason and the client indemnifies the Owner against all claims, actions and matters in respect of such loss, injury, damages or delay. The Owner will have no responsibility to you as the Client for any delay or failure in performance of any of its obligations under this Hunting Contract where the failure is occasioned by unavoidable and significant weather conditions, pandemics or other events beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, lockouts, labor disturbances, Government or local Authority intervention, discontinuance of power supply or civil commotion.

transfers

  • With adequate notice and agreement between the Owner and the Client, deposits and arrangements can be transferred, assigned, or credited to another person that the client finds themselves and that person is not already booked with Ohana Bay Hunting.

CANCELLATIONS

With adequate notice, deposits can be credited to a future hunt date. Our policy is:

  • 3 months notice, full deposit credited to a future date

  • 2 months notice, 2/3 deposit credited to a future date

  • 1 month notice, 1/3 deposit credited to a future date

  • Less than 1 month notice, no credit given to a future date
